BEVERLY HILLS, CA ( 2020/12/31 – From Michael Wittner at The Patch Beverly Hills:

Happy New Year! What were your best and worst moments of 2020? Did this feel like one of the longest years of your life? Are you feeling hopeful that things will return to normal in 2021?

A greatest moment in 2020? Running for Beverly Hills City Council. I had never run for public office before and glad to even get on the ballot. Although I didn’t win, I learned a lot about politics and got to work with great supporters during my campaign. Thank you for your coverage of the election, Michael!

Want to try again for City Council in 2022. I’d still like to build 3,000 units of affordable housing for our city’s workers so they won’t clog our streets commuting to work daily and to build a public transportation skyway so tourists on foot can easily reach shops in areas of Beverly Hills beyond the Rodeo subway stop.

Not a greatest moment in 2020? Cancelling my trip to see Paris in May.
